How to Tag Allergens

Summary: Food allergies are on the rise and being able to let those who consume your goods know what recipes contain allergens is become more and more important. The PLUS account allows users to tag ingredients with allergens, which then appear in summary on the recipe.

How to tag allergens: To tag an ingredient with a specific allergen, open the ingredient and open the 'Allergens' section by clicking on it's header.

Allergens

Gluten
Crustacean
Egg
Fish
Peanut
Soybean
Milk
Tree Nut
Celery
Mustard
Sesame
Sulphur Dioxide
Lupin
Mollusc
Alcohol
Gelatin

To tag the ingredient, simply click on the allergen and it will turn red with an exclamation mark. Any recipe or sub-recipe that uses this ingredient will now be tagged for the allergen as well.

Once an ingredient was tagged with an allergen, it will show in the ingredient list with a warning icon (). On the recipe, the allergen section will be highlighted in red if there are any allergens tagged among the ingredients. Please note that ingredients added before they are saved will not show in the allergens summary.

The 'Default' report print-out for the recipe will show the allergens on the recipe. A custom report can also be created that shows the allergens on the recipe.
